mrj Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 Hi,I am not a expert coder, but I know what is required to run a simple site. I know PHP. Anyway, I want to use web push notification to my site. Is it possible to use on heliohost? Please visit the link and let me know if heliohost is compatible with this. Quote
Bailey Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 It's the browser that you need to worry about. Not your hosting provider Quote
Bailey Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 For example, IE 7 and below may not support this but Chrome and Firefox should. Quote
mrj Posted February 26, 2018 Author Posted February 26, 2018 Okay, I am wondering if requirements shown in the documentation are available on heliohost. Quote
Bailey Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 You may have to ask Krydos to install these, gmp, mbstring, curl, openssl on PHP 7 but it should work. Quote
Bailey Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 Krydos is installing them as I type this Quote
Bailey Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 You may need to change your PHP to 7 using 'Multi PHP' in cPanel. Quote
mrj Posted February 26, 2018 Author Posted February 26, 2018 I did that already. What about other stuff? Quote
mrj Posted February 26, 2018 Author Posted February 26, 2018 I mean I have set PHP version to 7 from cpanel (using inherit). Now does other requirements are available in heliohost? In their documentation, theu said requirements are:★PHP 7.0+gmpmbstringcurlopenssl* PHP 7.1+ is recommended for better performance. For PHP 5.6 or HHVM compatibility, use the v1.x releases.I know that heliohost supports mbstring, curl and openssl. But I am not sure if heliohost (specifically tommy) whether supports gmp or not.
