jcook Posted February 12, 2018 Share Posted February 12, 2018 How do I get my IP unblocked? It says I was blocked due to failed login attempts. Reading through the forums, it seems like the default FTP accounts do not work on Johnny. I figured it out on my own and created an additional user with root access (which was successful), but it looks like I figured it out too late. wolstech Posted February 12, 2018 Share Posted February 12, 2018 (edited) You have to use plain ftp on port 21 for those extra accounts to work. It can't be FTP over TLS or SFTP, has to be plain unencrypted FTP. The default account is just your cpanel username and password. Hostname is Johnny.heliohost.org. Port is 1373 for SFTP (which is supported only for this default account), or 21 with plain unencrypted FTP. Unblocked.
