Catara Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 What books have you been reading recently? I've been reading through James Patterson's Alex Cross series. I'm reading Mary, Mary now, so I've almost caught up. I'm also reading Rosemary's Baby by Ira Levin. I had hoped to read Richard Matheson's I am Legend before the movie came out, but haven't gotten to it, yet. I'll read it before I see the movie, for sure, though. What about all of you?
XPlumpedXLipsXandXArsenicX Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 R.A. Salvatores works pertaining to the Dark Elf Drizzt. BUt I finished those, so I'm moving on the the War of the Spider queen series.
Ifrit Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 I'm reading The Sparrow at the moment. It's a science fiction book about Jesuit priests who go on a mission to an alien planet. It's turning out to be really good. The last book I read was The Twilight Watch and it's part of a fantastic urban fantasy series by Sergei Lukyanenko.
awesomegamer Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 I was just reading The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy yesterday, though I have read it before; it's my favorite book.
AverageJoe Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 I'm reading The Art of Deception by Kevin Mitnik. It is a book on how it is much easier to have someone give you their password than actually crack it. Joe
co1dfus1on Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 His Dark Materials (again). Trying to get the [bleeped!] film out of my head.
BadMrNasty Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 Nothing right now, Bah no time. I was reading all Chuck Palahniuk books. He is an amazing author. Most people now him for writing Fight Club.
foxxyD Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Abbey's Desert Solitaire. It's a bit long at parts, but definitely worth the read if you're into environmental literature at all. More exciting than Walden, at least. -_^ Not like Walden is bad or anything, because it isn't.
MYSTi Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 I am currently reading!!! "The 3 mistakes of my life" by Chetan Bhagat

jjpriest25 Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 I love Clive Cussler's books. Every one is like an adventure movie. Sometimes it's a little unrealistic, where Dirk Pitt, the main character, just happens to have a weird feeling that a bomb is attached to the bottom of a submarine, but all of the books are still really good. They're not very hard to read either.
JcX Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Anyone here like the 4 famous book of China? Some about myths and legends, while some based on history while some are love story. I like The Romance of Three Kingdom, it's a war story based on real history. Hoping that someone here read it and we can share our comments.
Sungazer Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 JcX: Didnt they make an anime based on 'The Romance of Three Kingdoms'? I could swear Ive watched something that was suposed to be based on it.
