luanfrj Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 (edited) I have the same problem with my site https://luan.heliohost.org, it shows that certificates expired yesterday. Edited August 5, 2017 by luanfrj
Krydos Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 We've been hitting the rate limits on autossl so some certificates are expiring instead of automatically renewing. I recommend http://wiki.helionet.org/Installing_a_Let%27s_Encrypt_SSL_Certificate to get your https working again without errors. 1
luanfrj Posted August 6, 2017 Author Posted August 6, 2017 I try to generate certificate by myself but I get: Error: Certificate signature failed. Please start back at Step 1. { "type": "urn:acme:error:rateLimited", "detail": "Error creating new cert :: too many certificates already issued for: heliohost.org", "status": 429 }
miwilc Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 @Krydos LE provides a form if we want a increased rate limit: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfg56b_wLmUN7n-WWhbwReE11YoHXs_fpJyZcEjDaR69Q-kJQ/viewform?c=0&w=1 Referenced in https://letsencrypt.org/docs/rate-limits/ Extract from the form: "Let's Encrypt is running a trial for accepting rate limit adjustment requests from entities hosting large numbers of domains. Specifically, we are accepting applications from entities with the following needs: 1) Certificates for more than 500 subdomains of a particular domain. "
Krydos Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 Thanks for finding that. I've submitted a request for a higher limit, but it says it may take a couple weeks to get back to us. I'll keep you all updated on how it goes.
