alforium Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 Hello!I'm a brand new Heliohost user. Right now I'm waiting for my domain to be set up, and I have all the content finished and ready to upload, but... after reading the terms of use, I have to ask: would pictures like these violate the terms of use? These are drawing exercises that I made in class a couple of years ago. I was planning on including them on a series of tutorials about visual art, anatomy, perspective, etc. Would that be OK? I had them hosted with no problems in Wordpress.com until very recently, but since, according to your TOS, we should "refrain from providing pictures and/or photographs of nude men and women", I was wondering...Thanks!A. Krydos Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 The main reason we have that in the terms of service is because when Ashoat created HelioHost he was 16 or so and it wasn't legal for him to view pornography let alone host it. Art museums that have paintings like these don't have someone checking IDs at the front making sure everyone is over 18 so I'm going to say these are fine. Something like Hentai that is still drawn, but is intended to be pornographic would not be ok. Thanks for asking!
alforium Posted July 3, 2017 Author Posted July 3, 2017 Great! I thought so, but I needed to ask. Thank you
