Guest dargdarg Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 I've seen that on Ricky users get free auto reneving Comodo SSL cert. Is such thing possible on Tommy server?
Krydos Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 Yes, Tommy has free comodo ssl certificates that are automatically installed and renewed for you for all domains on your account.
Guest dargdarg Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 do they require a manual setup? I installed a Let's Encrypt certificate 3 months ago for my main heliohost address dargusmaximus.heliohost.org and my domain dargusmaximus.pro (including www and non-www) but it's about to expire on 12th this month so I'm wondering if this Comodo SSL will require manual activation or it will be seamless (I have htaccess forced redirect from non-ssl to ask so I might need to turn it off/edit for, if redirect will stay without valid certificate browsers will start showing errors).
Krydos Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 No, autossl will not override or delete ssl certificates that it did not create. So when your Let's Encrypt certificate expries your ssl will be broken. If you want I can remove let's encrypt and switch you to autossl. Then you wouldn't need to worry about your certificates expiring in the future. Let me know if you'd like me to do this.
