mlex Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 Hey there folks, I'm getting 522 error(host error) with cloudflare(it says your server is returning timeout). As for now, it does working, but without CF's rules of https - it return "insecure" error, while it let visit with standard http just fine. I'm on tommy. Is there any problems currently(was) or something?
wolstech Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 We're being hit with DDoS attacks on and off. You can see the red bands here: http://heliohost.grd.net.pl/monitor/ The attacks that get lobbed at us don't actually overload/crash the servers (server firewalls repel them), but sometimes do cause downtime anyway...by clogging up the network connections and switch with junk packets. 1
mlex Posted April 24, 2017 Author Posted April 24, 2017 Thanks a lot for quick reply, wolstech! Can this cause brake https of CloudFlare? I'm using the Page Rules of CloudFlare to redirect from http to https, but at this moment, I'm not redirecting to it and while going on it manually, I'm getting the "Your connection is not secure".
wolstech Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 You might have a stale certificate cached or something...the domain attached to your account is working properly for me and is showing as secure. Please clear your cache. If that doesn't help, try another browser or another PC. 1
mlex Posted April 24, 2017 Author Posted April 24, 2017 Once again, thanks a lot, wolstech! All works great at the moment. I hope the DDOS attack will end soon entirely
