First Stevie failed then now Johnny!

That's not serious at all!

 

Why not directly ask for money to help you rather than stop servers one after the other?
It's just a question of honesty!
OK it's free but it's not a reason to do so.

 

This week I made the decision to pay for a web host because I lost all my trust in heliohost.

 

Now my website works perfectly and I am no longer anxious about the idea that Stevie or Johnny or xxxxx failed again!

You seriously think that we seriously shut down serious Stevie after seriously like six years of seriously good uptime? In all seriousness though, the reason we asked for money for the first time ever in the 12 years we've been providing free hosting is because we're having so much bad luck lately. Trust me, no one who has created an account on Tommy is complaining.

 

Seriously though, when both Stevie and Johnny crashed I thought that maybe Heliohost was done for, but all of our amazing users who have received exceptional free hosting for years stepped up and we have received more donations than I ever expected we would. People are being way more supportive than I expected too. I wouldn't have been the least bit surprised if a lot more people had acted the way that you are, but you're actually the first who has said anything like this.

Me it's been years that i am on Heliohost, even if my free personnal site hosted now on Johnny is down; i still like very much Heliohost, like very much there Administrators and moderators. I'm not sure if the Administrators should transfer my account on Tommy, because i think of all the requests to be on Tommy; the administrators, moderators should have so much things to do. Transfering me on Tommy and putting my files as copy paste, keeping my Heliohost domain name i think it might be too much to request; because of all the things you do right now on Stevie and Johnny.

 

I find sad that some peoples goes elsewhere, but i understand. Me when the peoples have gone on my personnal site have seen the message: Thank's to Heliohost. I am always proud and happy to be with Heliohost.org, even if i cant log in to keep my account and hosting domain name alive because that Johnny is down. I hope that it will be fixed soon, my friends and others write my domain name: http://sylvain.heliohost.org but my pages does not apear. I hope for the peoples that it will be fixed soon as for my self, but i understand that you are soo much busy in these times.

Too bad he doesn't have access to the Moderator's forum. He'd really see what's going on with us trying to get the servers back up and running with all that we can come up with. Also the special trip the owner (Ashoat) has to make to California to try and rescue what we have left of the servers. Or why didn't he see all of the attempts Krydos made to backup all the accounts he could. Or all of us Admin. and Mods. putting in allot of extra hard work just to keep Heliohost going these last couple of months. I myself wished I still had my sites on Stevie. As much as I like the Tommy server, my older php just doesn't work as well as it did with the Stevie server. Also please don't spread these false lies about Heliohost. It's definitely NOT the truth!
