why you guys don't make some backup servers for each your server?

have you so much domains on them?

The hard disks in them failed due to age. They're both 7+ years old and ran non-stop. The fact they ran for that, and ran well, was impressive considering they were bought used and we went well beyond cPanel's recommendations for accounts on a server. Stevie alone had well over 10,000 accounts...cP recommends 400 or less for something like Stevie. Half of them were inactive or suspended, but still.

 

No backups because there's no space for them...same reason the servers have no RAID...didn't want to waste capacity on mirrors. We instead offer the tools to make your own.

 

We fully intend on redisking these servers and getting them back online too, so Stevie and Johnny will definitely be back
