Kyougi Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 Here's your first one. And, I dual boot between Linux and XP, hence that. Surely you can't tell me you haven't stumbled across a site that required an AX object, though - even if you can't run it! And yes, TBone, FF is more secure by a longshot. How gross. I have stumbed apon sites that use ActiveX, it's just that I don't need any of it. Of course FF is more secure. The less common something is, generally, the more secure it is.
Ash Fohx Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 My browser of choice is Firefox~ I just love how easily customizeable it is and how often it's updated to keep it secure. x3
rod91 Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 I for one prefer FireFox. It looks nicer than IE7, for all I know it's safer, and has many features I use and abuse on a daily basis: -AdBlock and the extension -Spellcheck -Greasemonkey Ad Infinitum. Only flaw I see with it is the massive amounts of RAM consumed... other than, it's overall a wise choice.
naynesh Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 i like the windows one because its easier to use
Demon Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 Firefox is more secure, isnt it? As far as I know, it is securer than IE. Firefox is one of the best browsers IMO..
naynesh Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 Now i would say i like the firefox one because it protects you from spam and its way simpler than windows. That my opinion.
Azgar Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 I actually use a version of firefox called swiftFox. I was having trouble with my 1 gig processer, 256 memory running Mepis 6.0 on some sites. I found SwiftFox that checks your processer and it has ran great ever since.
teh silly Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 I prefer FireFox. IE is too full of securities holes and silliness, and Safari ... well, IIS and Safari don't seem get too along well for me, and ASP.NET being somewhat prevalent, I feel Safari stinks.
co1dfus1on Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Firefox wipes the floor with most other browsers. IE is just a piece of crap that only runs on Micro$oft and is full of security holes. Opera is almost as good (it's certainly a lot faster) but doesn't have as many cool addons (rock on Gspace, ForecastFox and leetkey!).
