I intent to create an ecommerce site and this domain should be the best for it as i can see. This domain however was owned by someone and let it expire last year. any advice please? Quote
wolstech Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 If it expired, you should be able to go to a registrar and register for it. Do note that most times there's a grace period for the original owner to get it back if they forgot to renew it, before it goes up for sale to the general public. The biggest issue would be if the domain was used for abuse by its prior owner (e.g. If it was a spam source or a phishing site), in which case the domain might be blacklisted by security services.
