I tried adding a .htaccess file to redirect my old domain to your new name and now my website is giving a 500 error and I cannot delete my .htaccess file.

Can you reload my .htaccess file, or delete?

Change the permissions on it so that you can delete it and then delete it.

lol that's why i cant login and do forum maintenance lol..... ask me before doing something like that, you probably put it in the wrong folder or didnt write the file properly. There is a feature in our cpanel that will make the .httaccess files for you lol..... let me know if you still need help with it i can login and fix it for you as long as you havnt changed any of the passwords

I keep on going to /.htaccess and clicking delete, but nothing is happening. It just gives me a blank screen under the file.

I think since I uploaded the page as .htaccess it overwrote the old one. Can you send me the default so I can upload it, as it won't let me access the .htaccess file for some reason. I really want to get my site back up, and keep the members that I do have happy.

The default is to have no .htaccess file. Sending you nothingness would be pointless

I see no .htaccess file and I tried uploading a blank one my site is still down.
