Regularly, $7/year with full DNS, 25$/5 years with same features
How many websites can you actually find that offer a domain for $7? Search Google (as I mentioned earlier... ehem) for "domains":

First result costs $15

Second result costs $9

Third result costs $15

Fourth result costs $10

Fifth result does not sell domains

Sixth result costs $8

Average of these five results is $11.40. I'm offering $10. It's a fair deal.

k, I would like to point out that it really should be less helions per dollar. Simply because you can put the helions in the bank, earn interest(money) which has better rates than a real bank. lol

O and djbob you forgot one

helionet:FREE

So, guys, stop complaining, it's free!

Lol, $10 a year for a domain isn't expensive, it's about average now 'cuz of sites like GoDaddy.

what is the main exchange rate?

hi just wondering would pay ppal be best?

Posted

I don;t think helionet has an official exchange rate with US currency ; )

So it would be determined by the user's motives such as the original poster's.

other than that it depends where djbob registers domains and for how much and use a similar conversion as above.

1.00US = 5000H/X

X being the cost djbob pays for a domain.

Well, Like a few of you have already mentioned, Helionet/Heliohost is free... why is everyone bitching lol. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Now, if someone wanted to say, buy more space, or bandwidth, then that person and djbob need to discuss arrangements.

DJBOB what are the chances that you would add a store item for increase in space or bandwidth or both for a certain ammount each month???

I can't do that right now because I don't have the proper API to automate that process. Manually processing that many requests would be problematic.

Are you saying I have lots of money...? If so, I find no correlation between free time/workfree service ethic and amount of money someone has, let alone the fact that I am really not that rich.
