[Solved] Php 5.6

hello

iam a beginner developer using laravel-framework , my problem is that laravel 5.1 requires php version 5.6 or above.

i tried to host my app in another free webhost that support php 5.6 but unfortunately it doesn't support openssl-php-extension ( which also required by laravel 5.1 ) for free accounts.

my request is to upgrade php version on this server to 5.6 or add an option to switch between different php versions including 5.6.

There are no plans to update at this time for compatibility reasons. Old PHP code does not run properly on versions newer than 5.4 due to function deprecation.

 

You will need to find another framework.
