paladox2014 Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Hi when I downloaded my sql data from MySQL it shows php version as 5.2.6 where as my website is running on php 5.3 why is it showing as php 5.2. My website is on stevie.
wolstech Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 We run 5.3.8 on Stevie. If you're seeing an old version number somewhere, it's likely erroneous and can be safely ignored. 1
paladox2014 Posted February 21, 2015 Author Posted February 21, 2015 When I download the my database from phpadmin it shows it in the .sql file that it is php 5.2 why would that be and thanks for telling me it can be saftly ignored.
wolstech Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Not sure why. I wouldn't be surprised if it has to do with an old version of PMA or MySQL though. Might also be to do with how cpanel works...the control panel and tools use a different web server called cpsrvd as opposed to the stuff that gets served publicly, which uses apache. Perhaps cpsrvd does use 5.2?
