DmC Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 I've re-created a hosting account -this time on stevie- and just in a few hours I've already noticed issues. Sometimes I get error 500 for 1-2 minutes on my website and a few minutes ago I saw an sql connection error for a few minutes. Are those problems common on stevie or I'm just unlucky today? Quote
hussam Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Sql connection error is common on stevie although less now than before.500 error can happen if you are logged onto cpanel or phpmyadmin. It usually clears out on its own in a few minutes after you log off cpanel (that is at least what happens on my account). Quote
wolstech Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Hussam basically answered it. MySQL errors are normal since the DB server is broken. The 500s are generally the process limit being hit due to cPanel or related tools like phpmyadmin being open. They go away after a few minutes when you close them or leave them idle. Quote
