blld Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 After deleting an addon domain (to change the associated username), I cannot recreate the same addon domain more then 24 hours later: "[the addon domain] is owned by another user." However, I'm pretty sure there is no other user using that addon domain. The name server of the addon domain is pointed to ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org. What should I do? Thank you in advance! Username = blmulderDefault domain name = daarzitwatin.nlAddon domain name = lekkeranders.tk
Byron Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 I'm not seeing any dns records for that domain. Try adding it again.
blld Posted July 11, 2014 Author Posted July 11, 2014 Unfortunately, I'm still getting the same error (please see attachted screenshot). Any other idea what could cause this problem?
Byron Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Go to your cpanel and look in Advanced DNS Zone Editor and see if you see any instances of lekkeranders.tk and delete them.
blld Posted July 12, 2014 Author Posted July 12, 2014 I've already looked in the Advanced DNS Zone Editor, but I cannot find any instance of the domain lekkeranders.tk By the way, thank you for trying to help me and your free hosting service
Byron Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 I need to login to your cpanel to check a couple of things but to do this I'll have to change your password. Is this ok with you?
Byron Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Go ahead and change your password back to what it was. I'll PM the password that i used to login. @Krydos: I couldn't find any dns records for lekkeranders.tk on Stevie or Johnny nor did it show on his Advanced DNS Zone Editor.
Krydos Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 That domain is locked because it belongs to another account.
blld Posted August 1, 2014 Author Posted August 1, 2014 Wow, that's really strange! Why would somebody else add my domain to his/her account? Maybe something went wrong with the system? If you wish, I can change the nameservers of the domain to something else to prove it's my domain name.
Krydos Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Since the account that owned that domain has been inactive for over four months I went ahead and manually deleted it. Try adding the domain to your account now. Let us know if you still can't add the domain and we can take another look.
blld Posted August 11, 2014 Author Posted August 11, 2014 Thank you, but I still get the exact same error that the domain is owned by another user...
blld Posted October 1, 2014 Author Posted October 1, 2014 Could someone please have another look at this? Since July I'm getting the same error every time I try: "is owned by another user". Thank you!
