Alonessix Posted June 4, 2014 Share Posted June 4, 2014 I'm making a Rails app, using Rails 4...only to find that Heliohost offers Rails 2. When will you (or will you) be upgrading? I'm not quite sure if I'll get bugs and broken pages when hosting a Rails 4 website on here. I'm hoping I'll be fine with 2...but I'm not sure. Is there some reason you haven't yet gone to v4? think I read something about cPanel not supporting anything past Rails 2, but I'm not sure. Also: if there is no upgrade planned, could someone tell me/link me to a list of the differences between Rails 4 and Rails 2? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

wolstech Posted September 5, 2014 Share Posted September 5, 2014 cPanel doesn't support it properly, so its unlikely that we'll upgrade.
