[Solved] Error 137 (Net::err_Name_Resolution_Failed)

Hi to all,

I am receivin this message when I try to load my page Error 137 (net::ERR_NAME_RESOLUTION_FAILED) I have never had this kind of error. the url is www.fortranrefactoring.com.ar . I can log in to my account. DNS servers have changed ?

I have checked the dns at heliohost dns cheque and I get :

It appears to be an issue with your registrar. There's no A or NS records, just a TXT entry saying "DNS con problemas tecnicos" ("DNS with technical problems"). Check your nameserver settings on your registrar's website and verify that they're not experiencing technical difficulties.

 

NS2 being down is normal. It's down far more than it's up. In fact, I can't remember a time in the recent past where it was working.

 

This is the tool we use to check DNS configurations. It currently shows the message I mentioned above: http://byrondallas.heliohost.org/php/tools/dns_records.php?domain=fortranrefactoring.com.ar&rec=ALL

Thank you wolstech, I have queried the registrar site of my country and the dns server are pointing to

Delegación 0: ns1.heliohost.org

Delegación 1: ns2.heliohost.org

so it seems to point to the correct dns servers. Another idea ?

It sounds like it's configured correctly, but there must be a technical problem on your registrar's end. Until that link I included in my post above shows the name servers, it your domain will not work.

 

Your domain is showing this: http://byrondallas.heliohost.org/php/tools/dns_records.php?domain=fortranrefactoring.com.ar&rec=ALL (error in a TXT entry).

 

A working domain looks like: http://byrondallas.heliohost.org/php/tools/dns_records.php?domain=raxsoft.tk&rec=ALL (Note the 2 NS records for our nameservers).

I have renewed the dns servers names in the registrar's of my country , but again nothing happen. Any Idea ?

Try removing ns2.

 

If that doesn't fix it, you'll need to contact your registrar's support to ask why that TXT entry with that error message is showing instead of your nameservers.
