Krydos Posted February 17, 2014 Share Posted February 17, 2014 Johnny hasn't been turning on and off. It's just high load as is expected after a server reboot. Unix servers actually get more and more stable the longer they run without a reboot. Prior to http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/17708-johnny-reboot/ Johnny actually ran without a reboot or a crash for almost a year. Hopefully we can have a long run like that again. That's why the uptime since then hasn't been as good. For about 24 hours after Johnny reboots he has a tendency to spike really high load, and then balance out again. I've seen the load spikes as high as 140 or so since the reboot yesterday. He seems to be balancing out now though.
