wolstech Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 You just registered yesterday. Give it another 24-48 hours to finish being set up.
adbelhamid Posted January 8, 2014 Author Posted January 8, 2014 (edited) okay thanks .. btw what actually happen in this 24 : 48 hrs .. or this is just routine Edited January 8, 2014 by adbelhamid
wolstech Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 It's normal. All domain setup or change can take up to 48 hours. If you're on Johnny, it can sometimes take a little longer due to load. The reason you have to wait is because one of the processes on the server needs to restart (I think its Apache, but not sure) before your domain will work. If we restarted it immediately every time a domain was added/removed/changed, high load from it restarting and downtime would be an issue.
adbelhamid Posted January 8, 2014 Author Posted January 8, 2014 if this is the problem then i think you need a good linux webmaster ... then why google doesnt make me wait when i signup for a new blog
wolstech Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 I've never understood it either, but I think it has to do with how cpanel works. Every cpanel host I've used requires this, and every non-cpanel host didn't. One of the admins would know the details on this.
adbelhamid Posted January 8, 2014 Author Posted January 8, 2014 maybe you just need a plugin to administrate apache via a database like mysql http://www.outoforder.cc/projects/apache/mod_vhost_dbi/http://blog.straylightrun.net/2009/07/31/storing-apache-virtual-hosts-in-a-database/http://wiki.apache.org/httpd/ApacheVirtualHostMysql
