Need Help With Setting Up My Asp.net Website

Hello everyone!

 

At first i want to apologize. This question might sound a bit dumb to some of you but i am totally new to website programming and need some help. I tried to search with google and the forum but none of it really helped me.

 

Whats the problem im having:

 

I want to set up my asp.net webiste but i am unable to do so. I have created my own website with visual studio and everything is working fine there. i saved the project and uploaded the files via ftp and if i check my website the files are listed there(unfortunately its just the filelist and not the actual website) and if i click on default.aspx it only shows the code instead of the website.

 

Does anyone know what im doing wrong? I would really appreciate any kind of help since im trying to fix the problem the entire day.
