[Solved] Addon Domain With Trirdparty Dns Hosting

Hello,

 

I am trying to add a domain to my account, but i can't due to the fact that cpanel detects that i am using another nameserver (not heliohost).

I want to run the dns hosting to another server (i have records for mail etc) and just point A records for @ and www hosts to server ip.

I know from other hosters that cpanel is able to add domains even if they are using another nameserver.

Can you allow me to do that?

Yes, you can use external DNS to host a domain with us. To do so just use this script http://www.heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/domain to change your main domain and create the A record to point at the shared IP listed in your cPanel.
