Tarzan Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 Hi!I have a similar problem that I had a few months ago; I can't reach my page (www.matfynd.nu) from my home network, neither sign in to my account. It started after the page was down for a while, but now it works for all other connections, just not from home. Is there a ban I can configure away myself? The issue is very similar to my old ticket:http://www.helionet....ress-from-home/ I don't know if you guys did something behind the scene, but after a while it started working. :)/&--#62;Just to clarify: It started working after I posted my last topic. Now the problem won't go away. flushing the dns doesn't work.
Ice IT Support Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 It sounds like you uploaded a lot recently or had too many failed logins on our system, thus enabling brute force protection. Do either of these situations apply to you that you know of?
Tarzan Posted September 3, 2013 Author Posted September 3, 2013 Yes it does. I actually had a brute force protection kick in because I tried to log on too many times. But since then the block has been released. Does that mean that your firewall blocks the IP I originally used indefinitely until you unblock it again manually? Or can I fix it myself?
Ice IT Support Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Once Brute Force resets itself, access is usually restored. If it thinks the IP is a spammer/hacker, then that's a different story.
