kerbalexchange Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Posted here: http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/16823-answered-ssl-not-working/ Hello, I have applied my SSL certificate, ca bundle, etc in CPanel and I am receiving an error saying that my website is not reachable.. Here is the firefox window: While trying to go to https://kerbalexchange.com (I think my SSL cert didn't get created with a wildcard) An error occurred during a connection to kerbalexchange.com. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length. (Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long) I was under the impression that after an IP purchase, this would work. I have done so, although I have not received any indication of a dedicated IP, is this a completely separate schedule? I see that PayPal has charged my account and I have a receipt. domain: kerbalexchange.com hh_user: kerbalex Thank you I have in fact decided to have my domain hosted elsewhere as I believe I may run into unrecoverable consequences. Please refund my request from 8/26/2013 for a dedicated internet-accesible public IP: PayPal Transaction ID: 7FY597190W122835MAccount (deleted): kerbalexAccount domain: kerbalexchange.com

Krydos Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Dedicated IP address. SSL certification cannot work without this, but the delays of delivering product have caused issues that I cannot resolve so I need to refund this item and find alternative website hosting that can assign a dedicated IPv4 or IPv6 ip address. We can assign an IPv4 dedicated IP address. What makes you think we cannot? Let us know if you still want the refund, but we're unsure what makes you think we cannot provide a dedicated IP.
