surfcss Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 OK, so when Firefox was first released I was told it was virtually impossible to get virus's and adware by using to to browse websites. Is this really true? And what do you prefer, IE or Firefox. I must say the IE just 'feels right' to browse with, browsing with other browsers feels uncomfortable.
1337 Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Yes. It is virtually impossible to get viruses or spyware on Firefox as IE is the source of entry of most badware. And about IE "Feeling Right" that is not a good explanation... you just have to get used to it.. and be prepared to be shocked when your computer automatically updates you to IE7.
surfcss Posted November 18, 2006 Author Posted November 18, 2006 I tried IE 7, but I didnt like it. All these browsers today are too complicated, and over-filled with functions. IE 6 is simple, that's what I like about it.
