[Solved] Login Issues

Hi there,

I am having difficulty logging in and believe I've tried all the steps:

 

1. logging into cpanel from heliohost.org, cpanel.mydomain.com, johnny.heliohost.org:2082/login/, redirects to "invalid login" page

 

2. I have performed 11 successful password resets

3. put in the password manually and using cut 'n paste

4. logging into mydomain.com:2077 seems to work but sends me to a directory listing of my account structure that I can browse

5. my account does not appear in the suspended queue (at least according to renew script)

6. I've tried both http & https

7. my site is up

 

I am on: johnny, my domain is: soumomukherjee.com, my account is: soumo

 

Any assistance is appreciated.

Sounds like you're being blocked by our brute force protection system. Stop trying to reset or log in for a fair amount of time and then try again. The amount of wait-time compounds with each failed attempt.

Oh dear, then I guess I'm in for a wait!

An admin can give you an exact time or reset it for you, a few days would probably do it. We've had cases where weeks of wait would be involved but it doesn't sound like that's the case for you.

I have removed the brute force protection from this account. Try logging in once. Let us know if you're still having trouble logging in, and for future reference our system is pretty brutal when it detects someone guessing passwords.
