It looks like my mailer went insane, causing the account to be suspended. The problem is that it's occurring so fast after my account is un-suspended that I cannot stop it.

Is there any way my account can only be re-activated for FTP so that I may back everything up without being locked out again? If need be, I'm willing to upgrade the account for a month just to backup the data.

Thank you, and sorry for this inconvenience!

It's all or nothing

What do you mean? We only offer free hosting, there is no paid hosting upgrade.

This is the third time so I can't unsuspend you on good faith alone.

I understand on the good faith part. I'm working on migrating the account away, and for some reason (probably due to the fact that it's the middle of the week), I thought there were paid hosting options.

The reason I'm asking for re-activation is to back up the content and remove the account. Something has gone horribly wrong with the SMF PHP engine, which is why it's sending out so many messages. I figure that if I delete the web directory, it'll halt those commands. I'm actually only concerned about the MySQL database.

Could you please let me know how many e-mails it was trying to send?

As well, thank you for reviewing my request. I am sorry for allowing this system to break your terms.

Your account sent another 157 emails in the 9 hours since its last unsuspension.

To be fair that's actually relatively mild compared to some of the other cases of wild mailings. But it's still over 8x the limit if it had gone the full day.

OK well it looks like something must've gone catastrophically wrong, given that the only emails to be sent were through SMF. If all the messages are being sent to a single address, it may have something to do with the corrupt MySQL database (the logs should show my attempts to fix the database).

Again, thank you for all your assistance. If there is no way the account can be unblocked, even if for only a period of 4 hours to archive the data, I'll just have to let it go.

If you care to wait a couple hours I can hop into the account and backup your databases, it shouldn't take more than a few minutes, but I'm currently busy.

That would be amazing! By all means, do not prioritize it, as I can gladly wait. I can either PM you an e-mail address to send the archive to, or I can provide you with an FTP.

For security reasons backups can only be sent to the email address that the account in question was registered with. Otherwise anyone could steal private information from any account they wished.

Ok, no problem! That works :)

Backups have been taken an a link to them has been provided to the address you registered with, let us know if you have any problems.

Thank you so much for all of your assistance. I have successfully received the DBs. I will take the appropriate actions to close the account.
