For your safety and to protect your website from potential further corruption the account has been suspended. To find the infected files we recommend making a backup of your site, download the backup file to your computer, and scan the backup using a reputable virus and malware scanner. If you are you certain that it is a false-positive, we strongly encourage you to file a false positive form here: http://cgi.clamav.net/sendvirus.cgi Your account should be unsuspended now, but keep in mind that this is a temporary unsuspension. stf Posted March 2, 2013 Author Posted March 2, 2013 I downloaded a backup and scanned with AVG, and it didn't find anything. It's quite plausible that it does have a virus, I recently got strongvault shoved on my computer and can't get it off, though I figured it was harmless. I have a copy of the basic files on hand, what's the easiest way to wipe the thing, and restart?
Shinryuu Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Well, option one is delete ~/public_html, create a folder in your home directory called public_html and rebuild your site's directory structure. Option two is using the delete script and then signing up with a new account when the old one is deleted.
stf Posted March 2, 2013 Author Posted March 2, 2013 If I delete it, I can get the same domain, correct?
Shinryuu Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 paddlehood.heliohost.org? I'm not sure how heliohost.org subdomains are handled, but I imagine you could.
Krydos Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Yes, you can get the same domain, but that might be a little excessive since the file in question is already gone. Your account is showing up as clean right now.
stf Posted March 3, 2013 Author Posted March 3, 2013 Thanks a bunchton! You guys are perfect and I will love you forever.
