[Solved] Account Move Request (Deletion Not Working So Can't Do It Myself)

Hi!

I've registered an account on Johnny earlier today, as registrations to Stevie were restricted at the moment.

Later I've experienced that Johnny is quite slow, I've also read more detailed informations on the two servers, and noticed registrations opened again meanwhile to Stevie.

As I don't need the additional features Johnny provides, I want to move to Stevie.

I've read how to do it, but I can't delete my account as the deletion script loads forever after I submit the form... I tried it multiple times, the form always loads but no response to submit then for long minutes.

I tried to create my account again (presuming my POST request gets processed by the deletion script, it just doesn't respond back), but it says my username is still taken so that's probably not the case.

Please help me, and delete my account manually on Johnny as I want to register on Stevie as soon as possible while the registration is still open (edit: and it's closed again meanwhile :( ).

Thanks.

(My hosting account's name is dodo55 too)

Nothing on Heliohost is instantaneous. The deletion script can take anywhere between 5 seconds to 48 hours to delete an account; it just depends in the load of the server and how many tasks are ahead of yours in the queue. If we were to offer instantaneous deletions and creations the servers would be a lot less stable than they already are because 100 people might all decide to delete/create an account all at once which would cause massive load.

I'm unsure why the deletion script was timing out on you. No one else has ever reported anything like that so maybe it was just a browser thing, but there is no account by that username in the system so it must have worked. Feel free to create your new account now. If you're interested in having an account on Stevie this link may help you http://krydos.tk/sign-up.php
