ftp
Hi guys, new here. When I go to my domain, it shows it as parked at godaddy (which is the registrar) but when I go to the website /cpanel, it shows my actual CPanel here at helio. The website is: http://www.madden25thanniversary.com It has been about 24 hours since the DNS has changed, has it not been long enough? Just thought it was weird it would bring me to the CPanel, but nothing else. Any insight would be appreciated, thanks! Update - I should now note that it is off and on. For about 5 minutes I was able to access the website, then I got disconnected out of my FTP server and I refreshed the website and its back at godaddy. Ice IT Support
Try clearing your browser cache and your computer's DNS cache. On windows the command is ipconfig /flushdns
ftp
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately it did not work, and the FTP still cannot connect to the server I guess I will wait a little while and try again?
Krydos
Your site is showing up fine for me too, and all the DNS settings and cPanel settings look good. Sometimes if clearing your browser cache and flushing your DNS doesn't help it could be your ISP caching pages. There isn't much of anything you can do about that except wait for it to clear out on it's own or try viewing your site through another network such as a cellphone with wifi turned off. In order to see around cached pages whether it's your computer or your network I would recommend googling "free proxy" and try viewing your site through one of the billions available.
