basil60 Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Hi recently signed up for a site to use as a case study for database design. On an older version of phpmyadmin (3.3.3) I use, there is a designer mode where I can display the tables, and show the table joins. I've looked in cpanel for this, but can't find it on this newer version of phpmyadmin. Or is it because the database uses MyISAM??? I'd appreciate any advice you might be able to provide.
Tjoene Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 It seems that the designer option is disabled in phpmyadmin.Maybe an admin can enabled it in the config file, if they have no objections against it. Edit: moved topic.
Krydos Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 This support request is being escalated to our root admin. Escalated this thread so it doesn't get closed as inactive.
Krydos Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 PhpMyAdmin Designer Mode has been enabled on Johnny. You can read the details on the news post here http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/22481-phpmyadmin-designer/ If it doesn't cause any issues on Johnny it will be enabled on Stevie as well.
