awesomegamer Posted June 28, 2005 Posted June 28, 2005 yep, i can get arround school filters, til we got symantec which checks evry word on the page. it even blocks if i open notepad and open the website as html! all transfered data is read by symantec, so thats what sucks =/ Quote
Kyougi Posted June 28, 2005 Posted June 28, 2005 I used to do some old-time programming on DOS when I was bored, but that was a few years ago. Quote
majazac Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 Gosh! I'm from the time where the screen on the computed was blue and DOS was the only thing working. From the time when the first game with sound came out.... Barbarian. Win 3.0 was the program who ran my second computer. It was a 386 with 10 MB of HD i guess... It was in 1991. I had seven years. Didn't knew it was yet possible to use these programs (sure, MS DOS prompt is still very handy sometimes, but win 3.1????????????). So many memories Quote
HerLoss Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 The good ol days... I remember the the old apple computers with no hard drive that ran games like lemonade and space invaders off floppy disks. Green and black... interesting color scheme Quote
majazac Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 mine was pc... black from the DOS screen and blue from the loading screen... Every single program had to be typed in DOS... I learned DOS languadge at 7... dir /p, cd.. c:/ exit... things like that... makes me remind my childhood... Quote
