James Leon Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 I don't know if my own software is ussing all the space or there is some issue again with the Disk Space Usage report. How can I confirm how much is in use? Account: c0rs0Site: netxure.com Best regards,
Krydos Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Log into cPanel, Click "Disk Space Usage" and it displays a nice report of the various folders and how much space they use. You do seem to be having some sort of diskspace issue because your account is maxed out at 500mb, 493mb of which is in your public_html folder: [/home1/c0rs0]# du -sh * 4.0K bin 40K etc 4.0K NetXure 12K perl 0 perl5 80K php 8.0K public_ftp 493M public_html 2.8M tmp 0 www 192K xmail Look in your eshop folder at all the core.##### files. Those are core dumps from some application crashing. They can be safely deleted.
James Leon Posted November 14, 2011 Author Posted November 14, 2011 I appreciate a lot your info, Until now i was able to activate my internet. Sadly I can't login into my webpage either to my cpanel. The error said --We sorry, but we could not find username in the database--- The day before yesterday I loged in and begun to download SmartFTP to loacate the files which I need to delete, and it took almost one day to download - becase I can't pay a higher bandwidth I will appreciate if you can hel pme with this issue. Best regards,
Guest xaav Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 If you are on Stevie, he is down right now.
Krydos Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Stevie is back online and I deleted all your core files for you. Your account is now using 211mb of diskspace.
James Leon Posted November 14, 2011 Author Posted November 14, 2011 Thank you a lot. I appreciate your help.
Krydos Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 What some users have been doing is setting up a cron job to run every once in a while to delete the core.# files. Keep in mind that you can run a maximum of 2 cron jobs per day.
