Ice IT Support Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Hello again,I have recently noticed that when I am logged into FTP and try to access a webpage at the same time, I receive a 500 error. But when I log out of my FTP account and refresh the page, it loads fine. I think there is a process that is involved that pushes my limit. This never happened before until approx. a week ago. Would it be possible to view my account processes and end any that are running (or have been running for a long time?) Thanks! P.S. I hope I wasn't too confusing.
cl58 Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Currently you have the following processes running: PID TTY TIME CMD 1164 ? 00:00:00 cpsrvd-ssl 1165 ? 00:00:00 cpsrvd-ssl 1820 ? 00:00:00 cpsrvd-ssl 1827 ? 00:00:00 cpsrvd-ssl 1831 ? 00:00:00 cpsrvd-ssl FTP can use a lot of processes while making transfers so I really wouldn't worry about it. Just wait a bit after making a transfer to allow all processes to end. If you want, you can post when you are on FTP and an admin can check your processes. Unfortunately, you cannot view your own process (as far as I know).
