Tom_K Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Hi and thanks again for your great free services. I have a problem with uploads in Wordpress. I cannot upload files bigger than 8MB. I tried every wannabe solution I found on Internet, like adding php.ini file with "upload_max_filesize" and "post_max_size" or modifying .htaccess file, but nothing changed. Thanks for your help (and sorry for my english)! username: tomk domain: ntominator.heliohost.org PS: My wordpress installation is in kipos.ntominator.com
Krydos Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Have you tried all the suggestions for uploading files listed in this wiki? http://wiki.helionet.org/Uploading_files_to_your_site
Tom_K Posted October 3, 2011 Author Posted October 3, 2011 Have you tried all the suggestions for uploading files listed in this wiki? http://wiki.helionet.org/Uploading_files_to_your_site I tried through FTP and I can upload files bigger than 8MB. Only when i upload from the Wordpress admin panel i have the restriction. This restriction has something to do with php settings I think.
Guest xaav Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Yeah, post_max_size is 8M. Is there a reason you need to upload big files?
Tom_K Posted October 3, 2011 Author Posted October 3, 2011 Yeah, post_max_size is 8M. Is there a reason you need to upload big files? Aa ok that's the reason why i see this restriction. No not really right now. I'm fine with 8MB from Wordpress admin panel. If I need more later I'll bother you again! Thanks for your help!
