hello all.

i'm having trouble using ssl on my website. so here's what i've done so far:

1)

i generated a private key for my site: irealm.heliohost.org

2)

i generated a certificate for my site: irealm.heliohost.org

3)

i installed prestashop using the script installer

4)

when i log into prestashop and try to enable the ssl, it gives a an error

Unable to make a secure connection to the server. This may be a problem with the server, or it may be requiring a client authentication certificate that you don't have

can anyone help me with this? what step am i missing to make the ssl work?

thanks a bunch for the help.

You need to purchase a dedicated IP. They cost $10/year, which is what our parent host is charging us.

I also need ssl to have an "https" for facebook iframe apps. May I pay through pay pal? Also I understand

that there a several specific steps to take as well. Can they be relisted here?

Yeah, djbob has a paypal address. I'll escalate this so you can ask him more questions.

Is it for sure $10? The wiki says $12 so I'll edit the wiki if it's wrong...

I thought it was $10. We'll see what djbob says.

No, sorry. HelioHost specialises in free web hosting and does not offer any premium services.
