[SOLVED] MySQL Too many connections

I am receiving an error when I try to connect to a MySQL database

 

#1040 - Too many connections

Could the problem be that there are too many connections open in all of heliohost (not just my site, but all the sites combined)?

 

I have never gotten this error before, and all my pages create temporary connections, so I don't think it is a problem with the code. Also, I don't have any users (yet...), so that's not the problem.

MySQL is currently offline due to server stability problems mentioned in the latest News topic. We apologise for any inconvenience and we are doing our best to fix these issues as soon as we can.

The high server load that was causing MySQL errors should now be back to normal because the servers are finished upgrading their software.
