965mods Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 hey well basically this isnt a normal queued account post i am using cloudflare.com for security and speed however it meant i had to change all my nameserver to theres and it automatically added all existing c names a records etc but the problem is that it added a new cname called direct.965mods.co.uk which allows me to access it without going to cloudflares servers but it doesnt work it just shows account queued is this normal have i dont something wrong or is it you guys? thanks 965mods.co.uk points to 216.218.192.170 via cloudflare direct points to 216.218.192.170 can you please help me fix this or do i need to wait it has been around 12-24hours UPDATE: should i change it from a A record to Cname and then put direct.965mods.co.uk points to 965mods.co.uk without cloudflare?
Krydos Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 http://965mods.co.uk/ loads fine for me, perhaps try clearing your cache? Thanks to Piotr GRD for pointing out that I misread your post. I guess all the typos made my eyes go into skim mode instead of reading it thoroughly enough. Yes, it appears http://direct.965mods.co.uk is displaying as queued. When did you add this subdomain to cPanel?

When did you add this subdomain to cPanel? ok first of sorry for typos i was half asleep well its not a subdomain as such and i didnt add it to cpanel as i am using clouflare nameservers also you may wanna read up on what cloudflare is then this problem might make more sense basically it puts all traffic through there servers by caching images and stuff but they all automagically create a a record poiting to my host and call it direct.965mods.co.uk this is suppose to no go through there servers and go straight to 965mods.co.uk without cloudflare however it doesnt i can understand why it doesnt but can you fix it? i need this to be able to access things like direct.965mods.co.uk:21 ftp and :2082 cpanel etc. thanks hope this made more sense p.s i added it around 12-24 hours ago but i dont think thats the problem i think the problem is it thinks its a different host completly as when i type direct.965mods.co.uk:2082 and login like usuall it doesnt like it and instead ses invalid password pps. on my first post original post for this thread i only see 3-4 typos and they are easily understandable still so i dont see what typos had to do with anything
Guest Geoff (Xaav) Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 It appears that your site, http://965mods.co.uk/ is loading fine through cloudflare. It also appears that direct access to our server is working through http://direct.965mods.co.uk/. However, you must add this as a subdomain that points to your public_html folder before our server will display your site, because of the way shared hosting works. Again, make sure that this subdomain is pointing to your public_html folder, NOT A SUBDIRECTORY.
Krydos Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 i am using clouflare nameservers also you may wanna read up on what cloudflare is then this problem might make more sense Yeah, I know what Cloudflare is. Like Geof said apache doesn't know which page to display when all it gets a request for direct.965mods.co.uk and has no record for it so it just displays queued. After you add the sub domain it will take ~24 hours for the queued message to go away. pps. on my first post original post for this thread i only see 3-4 typos and they are easily understandable still so i dont see what typos had to do with anything You may have missed it because it's so giant and so red at the top of the screen but Intentional use of incorrect spelling or grammar will not be tolerated. Read the Guidelines and the Support FAQ The reason it makes a difference is because if you want to receive the best support to fix your problem you need to explain things as accurately as possible. The point of communication is for others to understand what you are trying to say. Intentional typos and misspellings just make it harder for anyone to understand what you're trying to say. By the way, I would consider each lowercase "i" an intentional typo, as well as each word that needs an apostrophe such as "doesnt". Try counting again.
