Hi, I have a local copy of pgAdmin which I am using to connect to my database, but I am not sure how to connect pgAgent to automate backups / dumps of my databases on a regular schedule. Any suggestions or web tutorials you are able to point me to would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello, I am trying to remotely connect to Johnny Server by using pgAdmin 4 (or Navicat): I tried many things, looked at many FAQs and forums, but it looks like something needs to be done on the admin side. Here a topic that might help you solving this topic. My data is: Host: johnny.heliohost.org Port: 5432 Maintenance DB: postgres (tried also with postgre) Username: cecacons Password: (correct password) Attached, you can see a screenshot of the error message I get trying to connect remotely. I really hope someone can help me here, because I have run out of ideas. Thank you in advance.

Hello, I am trying to remotely connect to Johnny Server by using pgAdmin III: I tried many things, looked at many FAQs and forums, but it looks like something needs to be done on the admin side. From this post, I can see it is possible to do it on Stevie, and I also tried it myself when I had a Stevie account (don't have it anymore). Here, I can see that someone managed to get pgAdmin connected to Johnny, and that is exactly what I would like to do. This is the post I wrote in April 2015 in the Customer Service section (probably the wrong section). My data is: Host: johnny.heliohost.org Port: 5432 Service: (empty) Maintenance DB: postgre Username: cecacons Password: (correct password) Attached, you can see a screenshot of the error message I get trying to connect remotely. I really hope someone can help me here, because I have run out of ideas. Thank you in advance.

Hi! I just sign up in Jhonny two days ago and I uploaded my Django app. I use PostgreSQL as db backend, but Im having trouble to restore my DB running the backup script I previously generated with Pgadmin3. I created a new database, then I went to the "SQL" tag and ran my code. First odd thing I found was that in the public scheme of my DB there was more tables than it should be. I suspect there is some kind of policies in the server that "shares" the public scheme with all the databases. Is this it? Do I have to create a separated schema to store my data? Or should I use the public instead? Thans in advance

Dear Admin, Just wanted to notify you of a possible bug that Johnny is not accepting remote/external connections to PostgreSQL at port 5432. Stevie is connecting fine. Would it be possible for you to enable the same on Johnny as well? Also, my ASP.NET application (which is developed in Mono) is not working even for a simple ASP.NET page. As I understand Johnny has Mono, is it enabled for us to use? Thanks, Abhishek
