Right now my site and other domains I have are secured with SSL/TSL certificates. Problem is that webmail and other subdomains are not secured.
How can I secure my sites with a wildcard SSL/TSL (e.g. *.chrismin.heliohost.org)? Do I have to delete and reissue the SSL certificate?
Thank you!

Hello!
I read in an article in the support forum that we can't add domains on our own on Plesk yet.
Can an admin add a domain I own in my account?
Username is chrismin. The domain is ologi.org.
Thank you!

Thank you again wolstech!
Pubvana used to be called OpenBlog. There is an installation script for it in softaculous. I've never tried it, but it seems light compared with WP.
I guess all CMS are prone to vulnerabilities, but as you said, the more famous the more it will be targeted!

Thank you wolstech!
I'm considering to ditch WP and start fresh. Any suggestions? How about this https://pubvana.org/

Thank you wolstech, alway quick to the rescue!
Is there any way to access my files on christos.heliohost.org? Also, on the same account I parked 2 (addon) domains. Will there be a problem when I create a new account and try to park them there? Thank you!

Most probably due to WP hack, as I have read in recent posts! I know the admins will have their hands full, but I would appreciate it if you unsuspend my account so I can go ahead and fix what I can. Thanks!
EDIT: Can't login at cpanel and can't reset the password (it requests an email address that is not mine, s--@s--e.com

Yeah, the file and folder permissions do that when uploaded over SFTP, and they indeed need to be fixed to get the software working. You get 500 errors when stuff is writable by the group.
Yes, I found out from another post. Thanks!

Yes, everything is working fine now! Thank you for your kind help and your patience!
I think you managed to change the permission of your home folder to 644. It's supposed to be 755.
I don't even know how I managed to do that! I uploaded a CakePHP app to test it but somehow the directories were uploaded as 775 and the files as 664. I was manually changing them (directories and files) to 755 and 644 manually using the CPanel file manager and that's when the problem occurred.
Once again, thanks!

Hello people!
I was in the process of modifying the attributes of some php files (changing from 664 to 644) I have recently uploaded and suddenly was disconnected from the server.
When I tried to access my site it gave me "403 Forbidden" error. I am also not able to connect to CPanel (it gives me some warning and a fatal error). Can you please check what's going on and help me regain access to my site?
Here is the error:
You don't have permission to access / on this server.
Server unable to read htaccess file, denying access to be safeAdditionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

From the news http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/26727-johnnys-rebirth/
If you had an account on Johnny and would like to start using it again you will need to sign up again, and then restore your backup. Your old account will not be automatically created for you.
OK, thank you.
-
I have (had?) an account on Johnny before the "big crash". Now Johnny is restored but I can't access my account. What is the problem?
Username: chrmina
Please let me know if the account can be reactivated somehow or if I need to create a new one.
Thank you!

Yes, it worked, thank you!

I would like to remove the parked domains from my Johnny account (User: chrmina) but I can't access the control panel. I parked the following domains at that account:
- engrishcheck.me
- engrishcheck.com
Since Johnny is not fully functional, I have created a new account on Stevie (User:engrish) and I would like to point the above domains to that account. The nameservers should be the same (ns1.heliohost.org), isn't it? Can you please help me do that?
Thank you!

Thank you for the clarification wolstech. The Softaculous script tried to create a cron job automatically; there was no option to skip it...
Will install Ghost manually and skip the cron job or go for another blogging software.
-
Thank you for reactivating my account yashrs.
I wasn't aware that I was running any cron jobs! I tried to install Ghost (blogging software) via Softaculous yesterday but wasn't able to do so because Softaculous gave me an error at the end of the installation about being unable to initiate a cron jpb. Can you please check this out?

Username: chrmina
Server: johny
Domains: engrishcheck.me; engrishcheck.com
Not sure what happened, my account was suspended. I logged in yesterday and there was no problem whatsoever. No changes to my website other than trying to install Ghost using Scriptaculous (it gave me an error).
Please reactivate my site, if there was no problem. Thank you.
