Downtime ? Not funny, but... ok, you cannot be online all the time, I guess. But each time having to repare, reconnect all things, that unacceptable. If I look back, the breakdown happens to often, like a habit. I conclude: you cannot trust MySQL on heliohost, and I will stop using it. I've had it. I'll just stop my whole project. I just give it up. Thank you.

My account has been suspended again. I see to it I log in cPanel once a month; always the first of the month. Now it is 31/03/2016, last of the month and I am already suspended again. That's not nice. It is the third time now. user: stefaanc server: stevie domainname: casierstefaan.heliohost.org

All my databases are inaccessible since yesterday, october 22th, 2015. (database names are: tests, logboeken, astrodb) I get this error: Warning: mysqli::mysqli() [mysqli.mysqli]: (28000/1045): Access denied for user '*******' (using password: YES) (I blanked the username here) When I try to get on myphpadmin I cannot log in, I get "Server error 500" Same shit as less than a month ago. I 've tried all suggestions mentioned here, like deleting all users and recreating them, and then assign them back to the databases, changing passwords etc. Still, when I try to go to phpmyadmin, I get a blanc screen, with the address: http://stevie.heliohost.org:2082/cpsess2377486782/3rdparty/phpMyAdmin/index.php Before the crash, I didn't have to log in, when going to phpmyadmin. Now I have to, but with the result of a blanc screen. I am looking for another host now, since I cannot trust helio, and the way they handled the crash is not what you would espect, even when it's a free host. I need everything to work every moment. A temporally down-time is acceptable, but not a crash that takes days to repair, with no help or communication to us the users.

So, when will I get my data back, when will I be able to start again. Time is ticking.

Now my databases seem to be lost. I cannot go on phpAdmin (more or less empty page). Cannot do nothing. No messages from HelioHost to communicatie what is going on. I need my websysteem day by day all day long. What now?

The week before I had no trouble adding an external host by IP address. I had two of them, one for each of the two places I work from. Yesterday I tried to connect, the connection failed. When I went back to see what was wrong, the external host list was empty. I tried to add them anew (and again and again). The cPanel program always says it has added the IP address, but the list stays empty. Now, I can work around and avoid needing a external host. But still, I would like to know what went wrong. I have this line in my php code: $txt = htmlentities($txt, ENT_SUBSTITUTE | ENT_HTML5 ,"ISO-8859-1"); On my homecomputer (using Xampp Control Panel v3.2.1) this works as espected. On stevie I get this error (warning): Warning: htmlentities() expects parameter 2 to be long, string given in... What is going on and how should I resolve this? Thanks !

Thank you for the response. I don't know if it's worth mentioning, but setting up a database was no problem. I suppose you don't need a domain for that. You write: ''When you look the domain up, it returns nothing as if the url doesn't exists.''. Could elaborate on that? Do you mean a browser showing a page not found message, or are you talking about a script function returning nothing. In case of the latter, I would like to know which function. Can I do something? Or shall I just wait and try ftp once in a while?

Last weekend I created a new account on server stevie. So I made a move from johnny to stevie. I've used the same username, password, and I've got the same domain name as on johnny. I still cannot start with FTP for some reason, Tried everything I can think of. Could it be that after 4 days, things are not ready yet? Or something got mixed up somewhere?

This host (johnny on heliohost) seems to be more down than up. I will have to leave, go elsewhere, since this is not going to work.

I can access my site on my desktops (one Vista, one Win8.1). Mostly I can. But on my tablet (android 4.2) or my Lumia (Windows Phone 8.1) it very rarely succeeds. Mostly it does not. I am aware of the problem of loading sites from cache. Most browsers do. But when I clear the cache, the problem remains the same. Can anybody help me find out what is going on? I need it to work everywhere, especially on my tablet and phone.
