I tried to write texts from html page into a .txt file using fwrite function. When i checked the .txt file it showing me a bunch of numbers (i dont know what character it is called) instead of latin letters. What should i do so i can get .txt file which contains latin letters? hope you understand with what im saying in bad english lol

are you trying to say that you cant connect to your database?

If you just want a simple one with just text on it, i suggest you install wordpress using fantastico in your cpanel. Its easy to use anyway.

There's an mp3 player script called flamplayer. You can install that script and make your own playlist, upload the mp3 files to your database or add some url to the playlist so the visitor can stream the music. Its easy to use and it has an admin cpanel to manage the music. make sure you have put the right path when installing the script (i.e. in root or a folder) you can choose the path when you install the script.

I tried to run a perl script by pointing my browser to http://mydomain/file.pl but it didnt work and it gave me an 404 error. Im a newbie in perl i dont understand how to run it. Is there any requirements or anything that i have to set up first before running a perl script?

i have tried to register couple times for the last 2 days but i always got an error message like this "We're sorry, but an error was encountered during signup. Please try again later.".
