it has been kinda slow... and we've probably been missing some spam... I'm trying to get back on the ball... but I haven't seen AG, ETG, or /\/\/\/ post in a while... However, we already probably have too many mods for the need...
lol, /\/\/\/'s spam in Zr0host, good times. I HATED QUAN MASTER, KRT was fine, and punkbHowy was okay. It was funny how Howy was so active that everyone thought he was the admin, while Punkbl or Chaos weren't so active at all.

Admins, how easy is it to create and manage a forum like KL or HN?
ah, another breakoff of HN/KL/whatever? Good Luck. Duckie & Ze Calvinator tried the same way as you, and failed. DJBOB tried, and had some bad luck, until he purchased his own hosting (or you can go with his hosting). Until you do that, it's hard to get it started, especially with a banner filling the top 3/4 of hte screen.

When you delete a message, the helions are automatically deducted...
This can happen because you can't load the page, but your message got to the server. Then you press back/refresh and it resends it.
Happens to alot of people.

Well, it happened that KL was turning into a ****yard, and djbob decided to create a new forum where everyone could be treated equally, could have their voices heard, and generally live happier than on KL.
Well, these people called KRT, Flash, and duckie saw the site and they launched a smear campaign against Helionet. Since they hated djbob to the highest extent, they steamrolled over every HN supporter on KL until the attitude in KL was largely anti-HN. (You saw how myscrnnm thinks of helionet.)
Anyway, there's the story for you...............
Actually, that is mostly incorrect. Duckie and Ze_Calvinator launched another competing fourm, which never even got took off since they had troubles trying to mod it, and they had no dedication whatsoever.
Thats not true. I created HN because I wanted to create a democratic society after Lappy eliminated the "KrazyPolitics" system at KrazyLetter (I had won, and was granted adminship for two months). By that time KRT was pissed and jealous because he had lost (he had campaigned against me). Lappy launched the smear campaign, claiming I plagurized KL when I copyed their Spam Guide. The thing is, that Spam Guide was actually made by someone else, and then, when I was an admin, I editted it. Therefore, it was either my property or the property of the orginal creator, but in no way the property of KL, therefore KL was never plagurized. At that time myscrnnm was a moderator here, but I later deranked him for inactivity. He started flaming against Gamemaster_268 because he claimed GM_268 had "betrayed" KL. HerLoss fought back against myscrnnm, so a flame war errupted.Thats the whole story. Well, most of it.
That's mostly correct. The only problem is that I still hold in my belief that you should not have copied the SPAM guide on KL, a new one should have been created.
But, finally DJBOB and I reached a agreement, but some hostilities remained between members.

Excuse me, but I have GOT to clear some things up. Mynck did NOT ban HerLoss.
This is what happened that I have inferred, I will explain how I inferred that.
1. Mynck went to Korps commander's house with Myscrnnm.
(He told me he was at someone's house with Myscrnnm. The IP which the admin console logged was Korps Commander's IP)
2. Mynck forgot to log out, or Myscrnnm and Korps Commander used the Admin console while Mynck was away
3. They banned HerLoss, and promoted Myscrnnm to Moderator
This is what I know:
1. Myscrnnm and Korps Commander are going to be banned (How long i don't know)
2. Mynck is not responsible for any of those actions.
3. Mynck did not "[tell korps commander] that he had gotten tired and banned [herloss]" (see above quote).
4. HerLoss is unbanned, Myscrnnm is demoted due to illegimate promotion.

this was the best compression rate I could get with DivX, if I tried some other codecs, it gave me several Gigabytes. The reason is that some movies that are small are compressed with DivX pro, and you need to pay for that codec. Also, this is very high resolution (640x480), which most other videos are very small. I am sorry if you do not have time to watch it, but I have done the best I could to make it small.

Earlier this year, the Adminral (of KL forums) and I made a documentary on the Space Race, to compete in History Day, a competition that our teacher made us create a project on, but not necessarily participate. We participated, and got into the finalists, but got eliminated.
It is about the Space Race, and how the USA rose to power by communicating it's political superiority with their more advanced space technology.
This is encoded in DivX 5.2.1, so if the video does not play, you need to download the divx codec.

On Krazy Letter, I have added a AI bot, Alice.
But, as the AI bot seems to be a little dumb, there will be a competion with a 1700 Helion reward. Here are the requirements:
1. You must find a reliable way to teach it something(, e.g. where banannas are grown), that will work for most cases, and show me how to do it.
2. You must find a succesful way to make Alice do this:

After one year, google indexes it very well (a while ago google only had me in 33rd place, and as you can see helionet is nowhere in the list, since it is younger).
Also, use less intrusive ads, the ads you use take 3/4 of the screen.
