    Counter problem

    I tried inserting the pre-install cgi counter script on my site, after copying and pasting the counter html code. I still cant get the counter and when i preview it, i get a message like this;

    "counter datafile '/var/cpanel/counters/my%20counter.dat' must be created in cpanel first!"

    i dont know what the problem is. Any help will be appriciated.

    my domain names are;

    www.allnaijajobs.co.cc

    and

    www.allnaijajobs.net

     

    I take it allnaijajobs.co.cc is the domain name you registered with heliohost with. This domain (allnaijajobs.net) needs to have the nameservers pointing to heliohost.

     

    ns1.heliohost.org

    ns2.heliohost.org

     

    Then go to your cpanel and look for the Parked Domain option and add allnaijajobs.net as a parked domain and then wait for awhile for it to propagate.

    Yes you can have it that way. What you need to do is set them up as parked domains.

    Try adbrite. The only thing is you can't have their ads where there is Google ads because they look similar and that violates Google's TOS. It's the same thing as adsense, you get payed either when people (a) click your ads or ( b ) view the ads.

    Also, you can join some other forums, where they have areas for people looking to place ods on others sites so you can find some people through that. There's too many to link, so just try googling it

    Google adsense seems to be the only way a web developer can earn some money on their website through advertisement.

    But are there any other organisation offering similar service apart from google?

    I'll really appriciate it, if anybody can tell me of any other organisation. You know its always good to have options to choose from.

    Actually i believe both the religion and science get it right. Becouse as far as i know there is no evidence of what lead to the big bang. And in the Quran there is a verse that says; "the whole world is but a point and we are the one that keep expanding it." looking at it like this. It mean that point is the same point that explode and keeps expanding even till today. So, both are saying the same thing. Science is just late behind that all.

    I have been trying to log into cpanel for the past three days now. First i thought maybe its the network, but each time i log in, it will display a page full of text like viewing an html page source. Please is there anything i can do about it?

    That's a large amount of files. Try uploading in batches - the FTP server will time out if you try to upload like thirty files at the same time.

    its easy just go slow...

     

    25c for the soda

    2c for the tip

    3c given back (1c to each)

     

    so if you think about it

    25c + 2c = 27c (soda + tip)

    1c + 1c + 1c = 3c (each person gets 1c back)

    27c + 3c = 30c

     

    note: each person didnt put in for the tip see wizards spoiler

    9 + 8 + 8 = 25 (what each put in)

    25 + 2 = 27 (add the tip in)

     

    now the 3 * 9 = 27 will make sense

    and since the bartender gave them each 1c back... theres

    your missing 3c
