It is unusual cause i'm with telstra (bigpond) - basically Australia's biggest telecommunications network... If it doesn't work by the 1st i'll open a support ticket with them...

I can't access my site through my URL 'npsf3000.co.cc'. It used to work, but now doesn't. Someone else tried it and it worked for them. I'm in aus. Error messages indicate im unable to get any comunication with my site (DNS problems - unable to connect etc). Just wondering why this is, is it possible my ISP has been blocked by mistake? Been this way for a few days. Would like someone to look into it please. Thanks.

Server name = site url. port - leave at default. (else try 3306) Name @ password are same as cpanel.

LOL, I don't know if these topics are dead or not, but since they are within a month of my post (- and by looking at the post-date histories of these topics - that's a small wait), and still in the top half of the forum I find it is hard to believe that they are dead and buried. What's wrong with my grammar? (or is this just a distraction from the main point?). Normally I don't bring up topics as old as these, but as im not interfering that much in any other topic - and i have a specific interest in these issues io think this is valid resuscitation. I just love the title Science or Religion... Considering the two main players are creationists and evolutionists - both of whom use science and religion...

I don't disagree with you and can understand where the points are coming from, but personally i think that system just a little absurd and makes certain assumptions that I find hilarious in nature.

This is from a creationists perspective: (1) Evolution Is a Religion: As Evolution is a theory, to take it as fact brings in an amount of Faith or Belief, therefore in my opinion making it no different from a religion. ""I do not believe in God, so my religious beliefs do not counter evolution"" (2) Evolution Is not Proven - It is a Theory: As of yet, there has been no proof that evolution has or can occur. This include fossil records etc... "There is physical proof of gradual change in animals until they become a new species (fossils)" (3) Theory's are not called facts for a reason! IM quite happy you guys brought up the theory of graverty in this, and i hope you all believe in evolution as much as you believe in 'Newton's theory of gravitation'. Why do i say this? Simple, because its wrong and we have known this for nearly 100 years. And when it comes to quantum mechanics we have to create a whole new set of theories because all our old ones FAILED to explain what was going on. "Evolution is considered a theory. Dinosaurs lived before humans, and were extinct before humans, did the dinosaurs live grow up have multiple generations of child dino's then become extinct all within the first day of earth being created?" Err no, Dinosaurs were created at the same time as man (within a few days), the entire concept of dinosaurs before humans is not a creationist concept. LOL, the consiparcy theory is just that, - a conspiracy theory. Yeah, i agree the videos etc are fun to watch but when you compare them to the fficial story they make less and less sence... If anyone has and concerns ill be happy to explain why i think this.

Hmmm... I think ill try out asp before hand (as it should be easier to work with VB - Dont need to learn another language just yet...). I just read that mysql doesn't support foreign keys? How important is this - and should i consider using another db (eg Postgresql). I was planning on using them - are there ways around this?

Hi. I'm learning to program with Visual Basic and have come to a point where i need Web services to be able to access and manage my data In a Mysql DB - i'm trying to create a few web based applications... So I was wondering what you guy's knew about them - if you know of any easy languages or IDE to create them in? I have a few paths to follow in learning this myself - but have to wait a few days before i can access them so i figure might as wll ask people who know this stuff beforehand, to see if there are any paths i should be taking. All I need to do is get data from a DB to an application. Add, Delete and Change data - that's about it. Thanks

I like your servers and im hanging around to see what you guys are up too, i'm mucking around int Visual Basic - XBAP's and VWD so the hosting you offer is going to come in useful. Yeah, im happy after a fortnight of waiting to finally be able to talk to you guys. Does anyone know if we are having any DNS problems? My url "NPSF3000.CO.CC" doesn't work (DNS problems - or so chrome reckons) , and though I don't have a main page as of yet i'm sure it worked earlier showing meh my directories). It is really annoying cause i have no other way to view my site! So anyway - HI.
