  1. What series of step did you take to install the certificate? Are you sure it did it correctly?

    Used Setup a SSL certificate to work with your site.

    There in Certicate (CRT) entered the Class 1 free certificate that I got from StartSSL.

    In Key (KEY) entered the private key that I generated through cPanel here.

    In Ca Bundle (CABUNDLE) entered the ca bundle that I got from https://www.startssl.com/certs/ca-bundle.crt

    cPanel says the certificate got installed successfully. It works for IE, Chrome but not in Firefox. And when I check in cPanel using Install/Update A SSL Host for domain waveofweb.com, the Ca Bundle that it fetches from the server, is not the same that I got from StartSSL.

  2. This support request is being escalated to our root admin.

    Hi, anybody looking into this?

    Now I am getting

    The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is not trusted.

    The certificate is only valid for the following names:

    www.waveofweb.com , waveofweb.com

    (Error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer)

    I have installed StartSSL certificate. And I have also installed intermediate CA certificates through CA Bundle.

    But it's still not working in Firefox. It seems like server is not returning correct SSL certificate chain.

  3. Do you have a dedicated ip? Dedicated ips are $12.00 per year.

    I have a dedicated ip for my account 65.19.141.75.

    I got it long time ago. I requested for a dedicated ip address and you provided me one.

    I don't know when you started charging for it and I don't pay anything for it :)

    But my dedicated ip address is active I guess otherwise I couldn't have installed the SSL certificate for that.

    Thanks.

  4. Hi! I have installed SSL certificate for my domain waveofweb.com. It got installed successfully.

    But when I try to use secure url https://waveofweb.com I am getting the below error:

    An error occurred during a connection to waveofweb.com.

    SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.

    (Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long)

    Can you please look into this?

    Thanks

  5. Check the dates in that section of the forum - first post is dated 22nd July 2008 and last post is dated 6th October 2008. So that's all over 2 years old topics.

    I wasn't in here at that time, I can only guess, but my assumption is:

    - there was some server No 1, not owned but rented;

    - "Stevie" has been set (own server);

    - on request some of the accounts has been moved in there and also new accounts were set on new server, too;

    - with the time being all accounts has been moved into "Stevie" and there was no old rented server anymore;

    - at 2010 there is another server "Charlie", not online at all, yet.

    Thanks for clarifying :)

  6. That was right after djbob purchased his own server (Stevie) and was moving all of the accounts over to it. We actually have 2 servers now (Stevie and Charlie) and djbob is in the process of getting it online. Hopefully it will be online soon and should take some of the load off of Stevie.

    I am a bit confused. So Stevie is the new server...right?

    So currently I have my site in Stevie. So there is no point in migrating....right?

  7. You can change the Nameservers & still can use Google Apps for your domain. Go to the Mail settings in Cpanel & edit MX entry as per Google.

    For IP, you can find it at the left side bar of you Cpanel.
