I hope that ups is already in use. I think that djbob meant hard drive, etc failures.

Hmm, strange. They are working, then. But then what might be causing the blank page problem? (The page is still http://centralgroup.heliohost.org/install/...p;language=en.) The given url doesn't exist; your url has ".)" at the end of it. Secondly your url deosn't include the forum folder.

Depending of your ISP, the dns change may take up to 48hours.

Did you read the information available at http://heliohost.org/suspended.page/ and at http://www.heliohost.org/h-terms.html ?

Use ftp or the file manager in your cpanel.

Is there something I should do before signing up there or is this a website error? Please see helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=4160

No, the pdo isn't working correctly. See http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=4184 http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=4187

Wait for djbob, he can change your domain.

Pleas enable correctly the pdo and pdo_mysql extensions. I get the following error when I try install piwik (http://piwik.org): You need to enable the PDO and PDO_MYSQL extensions in your php.ini file. On a Linux server you can compile php with the following option --with-pdo-mysql In your php.ini, add the following lines extension=pdo.so extension=pdo_mysql.so

As the error message says this is a problem in the server. The signups are however been closed for a while. You have to wait for djbob before signups will enabled again. See http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?sh...=4129&st=15 for more information. Ps. Even if you have a dynamic IP address, it is not safe to make it publicly avaible.

Check file permissions. I had images with a permission of 700, put them back to 644.
-
Djbob: Have you worked on to co.cc problem? Atleast for me it seems to be finally fixed. Thank you very much. Edit: One more problem: some of my files have strange permissions (700 instead of 644).

17 000 accounts and not enough traffic?

Do I have to leave Heliohost?
-
Why not replace Apache by lighthttpd? It's much more lightweight and faster than Apache. And why not try DirectAdmin? Paid accounts, surveys and mailing lists would be ok.

1. Confirmed. This is a HelioHost's issue. I'm not an expert in dns, but it seems that some isp's servers need error-free dns servers. There is a topic about the co.cc problems. Here are some more topics about co.cc/dns problems: http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=4065 http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=4070 http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=4026 http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=4036 http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=4056 http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=4060 2. This is maybe the reason for the co.cc problems: There are some dns-errors with heliohost.org (and wit helionet.org). See http://www.intodns.com/heliohost.org and http://www.robtex.com/dns/heliohost.org.html My isp's proxy server gives this error message when I try to access my website. Without the proxy server I got Firefox's errror message saying "Server not found".

I too can't access buildapc.co.cc.

Yes, you may get a dedicated IP for ssl, but not before djbob is back (last seen on 17th January 2009).
