I also had been logged into cpanel. All of a sudden while uploading some files I started getting time outs. Usually when this happens, Ricky is temporarily down and within 15 minutes it's back up again. However, this time my site has been out for over an hour. Furthermore when I try to login through cpanel it says my IP is blocked due to failed login attempts. I never had any failed logins because I was already logged in when the site stopped responding. I tried posting a question in Discord but haven't gotten any response. The Heliohost Server Monitor claims Ricky has been up the entire time. So I'm wondering if the problem is specific to my domain. Everything is working now, but I'd like to know why I was blocked in the first place. @Kydos said I was blocked because I had 39 active connections to the server. I don't know how I could've done this. I'm concerned I may have some problem with one of my scripts or something wrong on my web site. Is there some tool I can use to monitor or trace my active connections? Right now I'm the only one using my site but in a few weeks more people will be joining. If I am somehow creating more than 1 connection at a time when I'm using it by myself, then I'm concerned when others begin using it. So I would like to get this understood now. My intent is to only have 1 connection at a time per user, and the max # of users would be 12 so I can't figure out how I could ever have 39 active connections. Any help would be greatly appreciated.     Tommy has been experiencing some downtime today due to DDoS attacks. We're moving everyone over to an ip address that isn't affected by the attack, but the old ip might stay cached in dns for a while. If you flush your os dns records it may speed up the process.
