I noticed the server running REALLY slow today. Even the forum was slower than usual. Anybody else experience this?

You believe in gravity and it's something you can't see, smell or touch, but you can feel it. Well God is like that with me, only I can see him in ways that most people wouldn't understand.
Cheers

djbob, it seems that all of my cgi/perl files are working in every directory except my root directory:
CGI-BIN (works)
http://byrondallas.heliohost.org/cgi-bin/time.pl
TEST (works)
http://byrondallas.heliohost.org/test/time.pl
ROOT (doesn't work)
http://byrondallas.heliohost.org/time.pl
Hopefully that will give you some clue to what's going on?

Try CHMOD'ing your .htaccess file to 755.
OK, I've chmoded my .htaccess file to 755 and it didn't help but shouldn't the .htaccess file ALWAYS be 644?

Some of my cgi/perl files quit working. This is one that USED to work, but isn't now:
http://byrondallas.heliohost.org/search.pl
This one still works as well as others.
http://byrondallas.heliohost.org/cgi-bin/time.pl
and I do have my .htaccess written to allow cgi in all of my folders.
Thanks,

These issues should now be fixed.

Seems the server uptime has really been better the last few days, so when ever you get a chance would it be possible to get the Imagick Class back?

Only purple dinosaurs get to go to heaven, which rules out all but one. So I guess I'll see Barney in heaven.

Here are the methods that are supported by Heliohost:
http://byrondallas.heliohost.org/php/imagi...all-methods.php
Here are some really good examples by DJ Mike:
http://eclecticdjs.com/mike/tutorials/php/imagemagick/
There's some really great stuff you can do with the Imagick Class!

Hey djbob, I woke up this morning and found this error on one of my pages I had made last night, which btw was working last night:
Fatal error: Class 'Imagick' not found in /home/byron/public_html/php/countdown-h.php on line 12
http://byrondallas.heliohost.org/php/countdown-h.php
and if anybody cares for a countdown script?
http://byrondallas.heliohost.org/php/countdown-h.txt
Could you check this for me?
Thanks,
Byron

Great little script for finding errors.
http://byrondallas.heliohost.org/scripts/p...linecounter.txt
Only works for the files in the directory it is placed in. If the url looks like this:
http://byrondallas.heliohost.org/my_script.php
Then only enter this: my_script.php
and it will display the code line by line with numbers.

hey djbob, I was going over your mail page and found a typo you might want to correct.
Custom MailIf you wish to use another mail server to handle your domain's email addresses, then HelioHost is the place for we. We allow users to configure custom MX records for their domain, effectively forwarding all email load from HelioHost to a specified mail server.
Should read, "then Heliohost is the place for
weyou."Thought you might want to know

Hey djbob, I keep getting an error_log file coming up in my directories when ever I open any php file with this error:
It doesn't matter if it's using Imagick or not, but Imagick needs to be brought back up when you get a chance.

Thanks djbob!
